The Dutch Minister of Defense, Ruben Brekelmans, has launched a new defense cluster for Dutch enterprises in Kyiv.
He emphasized that an increasing number of Dutch companies are expanding their operations in Ukraine.
«To enhance coordination and support for these initiatives, the Dutch Defence Cluster (DDC) has been established in Kyiv. This is a significant step for both the Netherlands and Ukraine. I am honored to officially open this center».
On Friday, October 10, Ukraine and the Netherlands signed a memorandum on joint drone production.
Zelensky described it as «a crucial step in our defense cooperation with the Netherlands» and «one of the promising areas for bilateral collaboration».
He also expressed gratitude to the Netherlands for their support, which has reached $9 billion since the onset of the full-scale invasion by Russia.
