The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, has announced plans to implement a long-term moratorium on business inspections to safeguard entrepreneurs from external pressure.

This statement was made during the "Forum of Government and Business: From Dialogue to Partnership" held in Kyiv, as reported by "Interfax-Ukraine".

"I have already instructed to prepare a long-term moratorium on business inspections to protect entrepreneurs from pressure by unscrupulous individuals in various positions," he stated.

"We are continuing the work of the "State - Business" council and I suggest expanding its membership. I urge everyone involved to be as active as possible," he added.

According to a report from Ukrinform, Zelensky believes that Ukraine has the potential for significant economic growth, but clear regulatory frameworks are needed.

"Ukraine can become economically stronger, and therefore we need to realize more ideas and talents from Ukrainian entrepreneurship. This requires clear conditions for state intervention, minimal and rational regulation, and strong advocacy for Ukrainian businesses globally," Zelensky concluded.
