Ukrainian startup Farsight Vision has raised €7.2 million from European investors with the support of the Brave1 platform. The Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine reports that the company develops AI-based tools for intelligence used in combat scenarios.

The platform analyzes terrain data and relays real-time information to drone operators, providing an accurate battlefield overview. The ministry considers this platform a technological alternative to satellite reconnaissance.

"When Ukrainian startups attract investments from global players, it signals trust in our technology and confirms that Ukraine is setting new standards for modern warfare," the statement reads.

According to the Ministry, Farsight Vision plans to use the funds to develop robotic solutions for logistics, navigation, and weapon management, as well as to enhance battlefield security and critical infrastructure using AI.

Additionally, according to Defender Media, the company's team aims to unify its developments into a single system to increase the autonomy of combat drones. This solution will cover reconnaissance, target designation with coordinates, target transmission to strike drones, and navigation during the final flight phase.

Defender Media reports that the investment round was led by the American corporation Axon Enterprise and the Estonian state fund SmartCap Defence Fund. Polish Radix Ventures, Swiss Anker Capital, and Danish Final Frontier also participated in the deal. Moreover, the Estonian fund Darkstar, one of the earliest investors in Farsight Vision, made a follow-up investment.

The company's solutions allow real-time conversion of drone images into 3D models and orthophotos with integrated object detection and anomaly tracking, even in the absence of GNSS, and integrate with battle management systems, mobile applications, simulators, and VR tools.
