On Wednesday, American corporation Google introduced a new AI model called Gemini 3 Flash. According to Axios, this model is faster and more cost-effective.
Gemini 3 Flash incorporates capabilities from Gemini 3 Pro.
Google claims that their new AI model is «faster, more efficient, and more affordable» for users.
The company asserts that Gemini 3 Flash excels at tasks like last-minute travel planning or quickly learning complex educational concepts.
The new model's multimodal thinking capabilities allow users to ask Gemini to watch videos, view images, listen to audio, or read text and «transform these responses into content».
«Our goal is to provide everyone access to the core advantages of Gemini 3», said Gemini product lead Tulsi Doshi in an interview with Axios.
She mentioned that the release of this model aims to give more people access to «the most powerful AI tools».
Gemini 3 Flash will serve as the default model in the Gemini app, replacing Gemini 2.5 Flash for everyday tasks.
It will also be the default model for AI mode in search, meaning daily Google users worldwide will have access to it.
Google previously released its Gemini 3 Pro model on November 18.
The American company OpenAI also showcased its latest AI model GPT-5.2.
