Updates on Google AI Tools Access for Free Users

Google has introduced new regulations for users utilizing its AI tools for free. According to 9to5Google,
the updated support document states that the number of available image generations in the Nano Banana Pro model has been reduced from three to two per day. The company attributed this to high demand for the feature, noting that limits may be adjusted and updated daily.
Changes have also affected Gemini 3 Pro. Following its launch on November 18, users without a subscription were guaranteed 5 free queries per day, in line with the previous Gemini 2.5 Pro conditions. Now, free access is deemed basic, and the number of daily queries may fluctuate based on usage.
For those using paid Google AI Pro and AI Ultra plans, conditions remain unchanged — 100 and 500 queries per day, respectively.
Similar restrictions have been implemented by other companies as well: for instance, OpenAI delayed the launch of the image generator in ChatGPT for free users due to overwhelming popularity but later made it accessible.
