Google's Innovations in Financial Technologies

Google is actively incorporating cutting-edge artificial intelligence technologies into its financial services. The company has announced the launch of the new Deep Search feature in Google Finance, utilizing Gemini models, as well as integrating data from predictive market platforms.
The Deep Search feature will allow users to ask more complex questions through the Google Finance chatbot and receive in-depth, well-reasoned answers with source citations. According to Robert Danett, the product management director at Google Search, this tool generates "comprehensive research responses in just a few minutes" and shows a search plan to help users understand the logic of AI.
The feature will be available in the U.S. in the coming weeks, and interested users can gain early access through Google Labs. The company plans to limit the number of queries, but subscribers to Google AI Pro and AI Ultra will have higher limits.
In addition to AI functionalities, Google Finance will also receive support for predictive market data from Kalshi and Polymarket. Users will be able to check current market probabilities regarding economic events, such as GDP growth rates or FTC decisions, directly in the search. Last week, Google also added an "Earnings" tab for real-time tracking of company reports.
The updated version of Google Finance is also rolling out in India, supporting both English and Hindi, although the Deep Search feature is not yet available there.
It is worth noting that Google has also integrated Gemini into Google Maps for more conversational interactions and added Deep Search into Gmail, Drive, and Chat.
