The digital personnel accounting platform, named "Impulse," will serve as a foundation for new services and IT product development within the Armed Forces, aimed at meeting various service needs. This was reported by the Ministry of Defense.

Officials state that military personnel will have the ability to view their military ID, receive electronic leave forms, track leave days and service time, as well as manage the accounting of weapons, property, and payments.

The "Impulse" system is currently being implemented in Airborne Forces units, optimizing the work of personnel, "staff," and commanders. The main functions of the system include:

• For personnel services – automation of routine tasks, quick generation of orders, certificates, and reports without manual data entry.
• For "staff" – a unified military card that records all service events, ensuring consistency of information about the unit.
• For commanders – analytics on unit staffing and readiness, available instantly upon request.

The Ministry of Defense emphasized that the system operates within a secure perimeter, with access to information granted based on roles. All user actions are logged.

This system was developed by the Center for Scaling Technological Solutions of the Armed Forces, where IT specialists with experience in digital product development serve. Deployment in the military is supported by units of the Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

It is worth noting that the Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Denys Shmyhal, announced the deployment of the digital military accounting system "Impulse" at the end of September. In June 2025, it became known that the "Impulse" system is being tested in over 20 military units.
