Digital Assistant for Citizens: New Opportunities from the Ministry of Digital Transformation

A digital assistant for the Ministry of Digital Transformation has been launched in Ukraine, enabling citizens to engage with Minister Mykhailo Fedorov through a chat in Telegram. This initiative aims to gather ideas for improving digital services and attract new talents to the team.

"We want every idea to be heard. With our chat-bot, Ukrainians can share their thoughts on the digitalization of public services, submit resumes to join the team, or get answers to their questions. This marks a new stage in the interaction between citizens and the state, where technology helps solve problems quickly," said Fedorov.

The chat-bot will assist Ukrainians in expressing their suggestions regarding the enhancement of public services and receiving career development recommendations. The Minister emphasizes that the digital twin will not have access to users' personal data.

"This project is a unique example of digitizing the ministry for public communication. We trained the chat-bot using over 10,000 materials to ensure a convenient communication format," added Danylo Tsvok, Chief AI Officer of the Ministry.

To use the new service, users need to access the chat-bot @thedigital_bot in Telegram, authorize through the Diia app, and ask their questions. Users' ideas will be directly forwarded to Mykhailo Fedorov, and in the future, the chat-bot is planned to be launched on WhatsApp.
