Google has introduced Flow, a new tool that combines all of its generative models, including Imagen for image creation, Veo for video generation, and the text-based Gemini for crafting cinematic clips.
Users will be able to formulate video ideas using Gemini, generate necessary resources with Imagen, and then bring their concepts to life using the Veo generative model.
According to Engadget, Flow will also feature additional editing and video directing capabilities. Users can choose camera movements and angles, as well as edit and add new clips and entire scenes. Additionally, Flow will have its own asset management system to organize resources and even user prompts.
The new Google tool will be available in the US via a subscription to Google AI Pro or the newly introduced AI Ultra. With AI Pro, users will gain access to the upgraded Veo 2 model, which includes enhancements such as controlling camera movements and a "Reframe" feature to switch between portrait and landscape formats.
Meanwhile, the AI Ultra subscription will offer the new Veo 3 model, which is Google's most advanced video generation model, capable of producing videos with sound for the first time, including background noise, bird songs, or even character dialogues.
At Google I/O, they also introduced the Gemini chat-bot for Chrome, launched the "AI Review" extension for search in Ukraine and other regions, the Imagen 4 image generation model, and the Stitch UI creation tool. Furthermore, Google announced its collaboration with Xreal on the smart glasses Project Aura based on Android XR.
