On the eve of the I/O 2025 conference, Google announced the mobile version of its NotebookLM service for Android and iOS. Previously, access to this service was only available through a web browser.

NotebookLM is an AI-powered tool that aids in managing complex information by generating summaries and responding to inquiries regarding the content. The new mobile version introduces support for Audio Overviews — automatically generated podcasts that can be listened to offline.

Users can create new notebooks, view saved notes, and also add content from websites, PDF files, or YouTube videos through the standard "Share" menu. The app supports light and dark themes based on device settings.
