Acer, renowned for its computing technology, is venturing into the wearable market with the introduction of the FreeSense Ring and AI TransBuds earbuds, according to Android Authority. Both devices leverage artificial intelligence for enhanced functionality.

The Acer FreeSense Ring is a lightweight titanium ring equipped with biometric sensors to monitor heart rate, heart rate variability, blood oxygen levels, and sleep quality. Through AI-driven data analysis in a mobile app, users receive personalized health and fitness recommendations. Notably, all features are available without a subscription fee.

The Acer AI TransBuds are wireless earbuds that provide real-time two-way voice translation. They support 15 languages spoken across Europe, Asia, North and South America, and include subtitle and transcription capabilities to preserve conversations. For optimal operation, the earbuds require a Bluetooth connection to a smartphone via a special receiver.

Both devices will be showcased at Computex 2025, with their market release expected later this year. Acer has yet to reveal details regarding pricing and availability.
