Technical Issues Disrupt Mobile App Functionality

Due to technical updates at one of the major data centers, mobile applications have experienced temporary disruptions, as reported by "Dія".

Details:  Social media reports indicate that apps such as "Nova Poshta", "Dія", and "Kyiv Digital" are not functioning properly.

Horokhovskyi speculates that a hacker attack could have targeted one of the major data centers.

According to the Kyiv City Administration, contactless payments for metro rides are unavailable due to technical issues at "Oschadbank".

Currently, you can pay for your ride using:

  • transport card;
  •  QR code generated in the Kyiv Digital app;
  • paper QR ticket.

Update:  It was later revealed that the problem was not due to a cyberattack but resulted from a power outage during scheduled maintenance at the De Novo data center.
