Ukrainian athlete Victoria Kaluzhna captured a silver medal at the Warsaw Half Marathon, part of the World Athletics Label Road Races.
This was reported by the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine.
Victoria completed the 21.1 km distance in 1:12:13. The winner was Argentine runner Dayana Ocampo (1:10:48), while third place went to Kenyan athlete Sylvia Medugu (1:12:20).
This half marathon was the largest in Poland's history.

It's worth mentioning that this is not Kaluzhna's first podium finish in half marathons in Poland. In 2022, she won the Krakow Half Marathon. However, at Euro 2024, she finished only in 41st place.
