11-year-old Andriy Panyv from the village of Storna in Lviv region has set a world record for juggling a football with his feet. The young boy achieved an impressive 13,096 consecutive touches, keeping the ball in the air for 1 hour and 37 minutes.
This accomplishment has been officially recognized by the National Register of Records of Ukraine as a world record. Andriy has been practicing football freestyle since he was eight years old and trains daily.
During the record attempt, the child had to maintain constant control over the ball — any pause or drop would mean the end of the attempt. This challenge required not only physical endurance but also high levels of concentration.
After setting the record, on the invitation of Illia Varchenko, the founder of the Street Football Federation of Ukraine, Andriy got the opportunity to train in the Netherlands. He currently trains with the ATC’65 football club in Hengelo, where he has scored 33 goals in 14 matches.
Andriy Panyv's world record has become one of the highest achievements in children's football freestyle.
