On the eve of the Armed Forces Day of Ukraine, two heroes, representative of the 4th Separate Ranger Special Forces Regiment, Oleksandr Titienko, and veteran Stanislav Zoriy, amazed everyone by performing 1002 pull-ups in just 1 hour and 38 minutes!
This record was documented by a representative of the Ukrainian Book of Records, and the record holders received certificates. This achievement showcases their strength and endurance.
Oleksandr Titienko is an extraordinary individual whose career is intertwined with military service and sports. He boasts numerous national records, including 870 burpees in 60 minutes and 295 muscle-ups in an hour. Oleksandr is also a champion of Ukraine in military football and a frequent marathon participant. He dedicates all his victories to fallen comrades.
Stanislav Zoriy, call sign “Refa”, is a two-time world champion in kickboxing among juniors who endured horrific events during the war. After severe injuries and 35 surgeries, he continues to pursue sports and motivates others.
During the record-setting event, the boys worked with maximum dedication, alternating sets of 5-6 repetitions. They maintained a surprising pace, which astonished both of them.
Hanna Krysiuk, the general director of the World Records Book, noted that these boys symbolize the resilience of Ukrainians. Their achievement will be recognized in the upcoming edition of the record book.
1002... This remarkable number became a symbol of their friendship and strength. Oleksandr Titienko is already preparing for a new challenge — a world record in muscle-ups, scheduled for June 8 next year.
