The Ukrainian Wrestling Cup for men and women was dedicated to the fallen heroes of the 1st Corps of the National Guard of Ukraine «Azov».
The event took place on November 29-30 at the Kyiv Athletic Manege. Additionally, the Ukrainian Greco-Roman Wrestling Championship was held concurrently. The opening ceremony featured Ukraine's Minister of Youth and Sports, Matviy Bidny, and the President of the NOC of Ukraine, Vadym Guttsait.
For the third consecutive year, the men's Ukrainian Wrestling Cup was won by the team from the Ivano-Frankivsk region.
In the women's competition, the prestigious trophy was claimed by the team from the Lviv region.
The weight of the Ukrainian Cup is 16 kilograms, adorned with sterling silver and 22-karat gold on its handles. This trophy can be confidently referred to as the sports Oscar, as it was created by Saxton Industrial, the same company that manufactures prestigious film awards.
