Today marks the beginning of the Spirit of Resilience sports event in Kyiv, which will run for a week and bring together veterans from across Ukraine.
This was announced by the event organizers.
“The competition will take place from November 30 to December 7, showcasing the athletic achievements of our veterans,” stated the organizers.
Performers at the opening include popular artists like Mia Ramari and the band Antytila. Other days will feature performances from bands such as Zhadan and Dogs, HLIBOROB, Krychytka, Hyphen Dash, and Yevheniy Dubovyk.
Participants will compete in nine adaptive sports disciplines, including wheelchair basketball, sitting volleyball, archery, rowing on machines, laser run, powerlifting, cycling, and swimming.
This event is organized by the Initiative Center “Come Back Alive” in collaboration with the Ministry of Veterans Affairs of Ukraine. Admission is free. The competitions will take place at the International Exhibition Center located at Brovarskiy Avenue, 15.
