The Ukrainian youth and girls' futsal teams (players under 18) secured second places at the world championships among students, which took place in Brazil.
According to the UAF press service, the youth team, coached by Ihor Moskvychev, triumphed over France in the semifinals (10:3) but lost to the tournament hosts in the final, 2:4, despite leading 2:0 at one point, reports Ukrinform.
The girls' team, coached by Volodymyr Zhila and Volodymyr Panchenko, reached the final after winning two penalty shootouts against Morocco and France.
In the championship match, our girls' team also lost to the hosts with a score of 0:4.
