Ukrainian Team Shines at World Jiu-Jitsu Championship

The Ukrainian national team clinched 9 medals at the World Jiu-Jitsu Championship held in Bangkok, Thailand. This was reported by the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine.
Our athletes achieved 4 gold, 4 silver, and 1 bronze medal.
The champions included: Bohdan Mochulskyi (fighting, up to 62 kg), Daria Honcharenko (full HIF, up to 52 kg), Daria Honcharenko (full contact, up to 52 kg), Oleksandra Yakovenko (no-gi, up to 52 kg).
The runners-up were: Daria Honcharenko (fighting, up to 52 kg), Oleksandra Yakovenko (no-gi gi, up to 52 kg), Diana Skrypnyuk (full contact, +70 kg), Artem Dvorzhanskyi (no-gi, up to 77 kg).
Bronze was earned by Vladyslav Chepel (no-gi, up to 85 kg).
It is noteworthy that in August, the Ukrainian national jiu-jitsu team took first place in the overall standings at the World Cup.
