The International Federation of Football Associations (FIFA) has updated its rankings for national football teams.

The national team of Ukraine is currently ranked 28th overall. Within UEFA, the Ukrainian team stands at 14th place.

Since the last published ranking, Ukraine has played two qualifying matches for the 2026 World Cup: losing to France 0-2 and drawing with Azerbaijan 1-1, resulting in a drop of two spots.

Group D opponents in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers are ranked as follows: France - 2nd (+1), Iceland - 74th (0), Azerbaijan - 124th (-2).
