At the 2025 World Games taking place in the Chinese city of Chengdu, the Ukrainian team has once again impressed with their achievements.
In the dragon boat rowing competitions, Ukrainian athletes secured 4 medals in 5 finals held on August 10.
In the 200-meter race among 8-person boats, the Ukrainians finished in fifth place, but the 10-person crew on the 200 meters earned a bronze medal.
The silver medal was claimed by the 10-person crew in the 500-meter event, while gold medals were won by the open 8-person boat crew in the 500 meters and the 10-person team in the 2000-meter pursuit race.
The Ukrainian dragon boat rowing team at the 2025 World Games included: Viktor Sviridyuk, Mykola Verkhovetskyi, Yurii Bardashevskyi, Serhii Semeniuk, Oleksandr Kalmyus, Danylo Kukharuk, Olesya Matviyenko, Anastasiia Mazurenko, Olha Buraho, Snihana Zhihailo, Kateryna Petrenko, Olena Skvortsova.
Following these results, Ukraine has risen to third place in the medal standings with 8 medals, 4 of which are gold. Germany leads the table with a total of 18 medals, 8 of which are gold.
