On the third day of the European Youth Olympic Festival 2025, young Ukrainian athletes celebrated a bronze medal!

This news was reported by the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine.

Athlete Vitaliy Tarasyuk finished third in the 5000m race walking event with a time of 20:55.71. Vitaliy holds the record for Ukraine among athletes under 18 in this category.

The gold medal was won by Italian Nicolo Vidal (20:22.43), with Spain's Gabriel Gonzalez taking silver (20:35.25).

This marks the fourth medal for the Ukrainian team at the XVIII Summer European Youth Olympic Festival in Skopje.
