During the award ceremony of the third stage of the Youth League in karate held in Poreč, Ukrainian athletes Yuriy Pavliuk and Nikita Hlushku expressed their stance on significant issues.

The competition took place from June 26 to 29, gathering young karatekas from around the globe.

On the final day, the performances of U-14 athletes were particularly memorable. Yuriy won a gold medal, while Nikita secured a bronze.

Also on the podium was a neutral athlete from Belarus, Daniil Prakapienka. After the awards, a group photo was planned, but Pavliuk and Hlushku refused to participate, highlighting their position against aggression.

It is worth noting that Ukrainian athletes also became world champions in modern pentathlon among juniors.
