The coach of brewers has moved to the first league team «Bukovyna» in Chernivtsi

After the conclusion of the 2024/2025 football season in the Ukrainian Premier League, the head coach of Kyiv's «Obolon», Serhiy Shishchenko, has departed from the team. This was announced by the club's press service. The contract between «Obolon» and the coach was terminated by mutual consent.

Shishchenko took over the team in September 2024 when they were at the bottom of the league table. By the end of the season, «Obolon» finished in eleventh place, successfully avoiding relegation to the First League and transitional matches.

Under Shishchenko, «Obolon» played 25 matches, achieving eight wins, seven draws, and ten losses.

Now the coach will continue his career at «Bukovyna», while his assistant Oleksandr Antonenko will take over the head coach responsibilities at «Obolon».
