The World Table Hockey Championship held in Umeå, Sweden, concluded with impressive results for the Ukrainian athletes, who secured 5 medals in total. The highlight was the gold medal won by Hanna Ivantsova.

The silver medals were awarded to the women's team (Hanna Ivantsova, Polina Kvasnikova, Karina Pirumshoyeva) and the junior boys' team (Artem Matantsev, Artem Tsiluyko, Oleksandr Pylypenko, Mykhailo Razkevych).

The bronze medal among men was claimed by Yevhen Matantsev, while Artem Matantsev took home the bronze in the junior category.

It is noteworthy that Yevhen was the world champion in 2023 and the European champion last year.

This was the first time in 30 years that Umeå hosted the world championship. The World Championship occurs every two years.
