Julia Mykolaivna, the director of the Youth and Sports Department of Kyiv, held an awards ceremony for the city's athletes who excelled at the 2025 European Championship in kyokushin karate, which took place on May 24-25 in Warsaw.

The achievements of Kyiv's athletes include:

• Andriy Kravchuk — European Champion
• Sava Teslenko — European Champion
• Oleksandr Vorobiov — Silver Medalist
• Anton Mezhenskyi — Silver Medalist

It is worth noting that the championship featured 1,100 athletes from 27 countries, with the Ukrainian team securing 54 medals and finishing second overall!
