Ukraine Triumphs at the 2025 European Championships

At the 2025 European Championships taking place in Turkey, Ukraine has secured its second gold medal.

16-year-old Ksenia Bocek and 18-year-old Diana Karnafel became European champions in synchronized diving from the 3-meter springboard in their debut at the senior level.

The Ukrainian duo scored 276 points, with Germany taking second place (265.95 points) and Great Britain coming in third (264.90 points).

This gold medal marks Ukraine's first in this event in 26 years. The last time Ukrainian divers stood atop the podium was in 1999, when Elena Zupina and Anna Sorokina won gold medals.

Additionally, the Ukrainian diving team also secured gold in mixed team events, reaffirming their status as European champions in this discipline.
