A football tournament was held in Kyiv in honor of the fallen hero and soldier of the 59th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade, Pavlo Petrychenko.

Sixteen teams participated in the event, raising 900,000 UAH for the drone reconnaissance unit of the "Height Predators" battalion.

Notably, Sergey Prytula participated in the tournament, having worked in the charity fund that Petrychenko was part of before the full-scale war.

The spectator contribution was set at 250 UAH, while participants were required to pay 1,000 UAH.

Pavlo Petrychenko was born in Kyiv, actively participated in the Euromaidan, and later worked in Sergey Prytula's fund. He served in the Armed Forces of Ukraine in aerial reconnaissance since 2022 and died on April 15, 2024, while carrying out a combat mission in Avdiivka.

Earlier in March, a charity auction featuring Ukrainian sports stars raised funds to support the 12th Special Purpose Brigade "Azov".
