President Volodymyr Zelensky has signed a decree implementing the decision of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine regarding "Further Implementation of Support Programs for Ukrainians based on Ensuring the Economic Stability of the State and Strengthening Measures to Cleanse the Financial System of Ukraine".
This was reported by the "Interfax-Ukraine" agency.
It is noted that the NSDC instructed the Cabinet of Ministers to analyze the situation regarding international assistance to Ukraine within a month and develop proposals for attracting additional funding sources during the next meeting of the Steering Committee of the Ukrainian Donor Platform.
Moreover, the Cabinet must take measures to ensure full funding for education, healthcare, and social protection, as well as urgently implement import substitution policies and strengthen support for national producers.
Additionally, the NSDC directed the government to refine the criteria for identifying defense companies as critically important, including enterprises authorized by the Ministry of Defense to perform state procurement functions in the defense sector.
Furthermore, there will be provisions for booking employees of utility companies, water services, and waste management enterprises, allowing them to reserve up to 75% of military conscripts.
Moreover, within three months, the government, in conjunction with law enforcement agencies, must check the assets of individuals subject to sanctions for potential influence on these assets and take countermeasures.
