Details: Kalas mentioned that Russia launched an attack using over 100 drones against Ukraine during the night.
"We must pressure Russia to genuinely seek peace and come to the negotiating table with Ukraine," she stated, accusing Moscow of playing games.
"If they continue to bombard Ukraine, negotiations under fire are impossible," the EU's foreign policy chief told reporters.
The Spanish Foreign Minister, José Manuel Albares, believes that if the potential meeting in Istanbul on Thursday is merely a tactic for Russia to buy time, it is pointless.
