For over a year now, an innovative project has been underway in Ukraine aimed at supporting veterans and individuals with disabilities by offering them the chance to acquire new professions and reintegrate into civilian life. The Kyiv Employment Center invites interested individuals to take advantage of this unique opportunity.
The training programs are organized by state vocational education institutions. They cover a wide range of areas – from basic training to professional development. Participants can choose from 97 different trades or enhance their skills through more than 400 educational programs. The learning format is flexible: options include in-person classes (during the day or evening), online learning, and combined methods.
Some of the most popular specializations include professions such as cook, cashier, seller, tailor, seamstress, electric gas welder, electrician, electrical fitter, driver, and CNC machine operator.
To participate in the program, applicants must prepare a basic set of documents: identification, educational certificates (if available), tax identification number, and proof of combatant status or disability due to the war. Individuals with disabilities must also provide a medical rehabilitation certificate and an individual rehabilitation program.
Applications can be submitted online through the official website of the State Employment Service or directly at any employment center.
