In the capital, 100 students from grades 8 to 11 will receive a monthly scholarship of 1,000 hryvnias for their achievements in academic competitions and olympiads. The Kyiv City Council has approved the lists of scholarship recipients who will benefit from this program from September 1, 2024, to June 30, 2025. This was announced by Valentyn Mondryiivskyi, Deputy Head of the Kyiv City State Administration.
«This initiative reaffirms that the development of the educational sector is a priority for Kyiv. Scholarships will encourage students to engage actively in intellectual competitions, enhancing the prestige of academic achievements in the capital. We continue to create conditions for nurturing talent and supporting the educational community of the city,» emphasized Mondryiivskyi.
The funding for these scholarships will come from the Kyiv budget.
The allocation of scholarships was established by a decision of the Kyiv City Council, approved in 2022, aimed at supporting talented youth and stimulating intellectual growth.
