The 'Yellow Ribbon' movement has organized a Christmas event in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine. Activists shared photos showing people in embroidered shirts preparing 12 traditional dishes, setting up Christmas trees, and decorating them with Ukrainian symbols. This was reported on their Telegram channel.
"Despite the pressure from occupiers, Christmas in Ukraine continues. We want to showcase how our activists celebrate this holiday: wearing embroidered shirts, preparing 12 dishes, and decorating trees with Ukrainian ornaments – all of this helps preserve our culture, despite the invaders' attempts to erase it. At the festive table, we dream of freedom, Ukraine's victory, and health for our loved ones," they emphasized.
The activists also noted that Christmas cannot be occupied.
