The Ukrainian-Polish border is experiencing true winter weather. In addition to snow, fog is complicating conditions. Tourists are advised to stay on official routes. This was reported by the 7th Carpathian Border Detachment.
They shared photos of a section of the border in Lviv region, which is managed by the "Smilnytsia" and "Sianok" units.
"The temperature has significantly dropped, and thick fog occasionally blankets the area.
Therefore, we urge travelers to be extremely cautious, stick to officially marked paths, and adhere to border regulations," the post states.
Mountain rescuers from Prykarpattia also report that it is cloudy and snowy on Mount Pip Ivan, with temperatures reaching -2°C.
Recall that the first snow on Mount Pip Ivan fell on Independence Day, August 24. By the end of October, snowdrifts reached up to 80 centimeters.
