In Ukraine's capital, Kyiv, 109 sites have been designated for the installation of mobile shelters. This was reported by the Department of Municipal Security of the Kyiv City State Administration (KCSA).
According to the defense council's protocol from October 6, 2025, local administrative bodies (RDA) selected these locations for the priority placement of shelters.
The selection process considered capacity, technical feasibility, and practicality, with prior approval from the Department of Urban Planning of KCSA.
KCSA emphasized that 109 locations have been identified for mobile shelters, but the timeline for their installation has not yet been specified.
Note: Starting October 20, traffic across the Podilsky Bridge from the right bank to the left bank of the Dnipro River will be restricted during air raid alerts. On October 14, it was also reported that there are plans to install 500 mobile shelters in Kyiv, which will be deployed in areas where permanent shelters cannot be established.
