The international train No. 99/100 connecting Kyiv and Bucharest has seen a steady demand from Ukrainians. In just two weeks, 2100 tickets have been sold, according to "Ukrzaliznytsia".
"In its first week of operation, Ukrzaliznytsia transported nearly 800 passengers. The most frequent route taken by Ukrainians has been from Vinnytsia to Bucharest", the report states.
"This train provides access to two international airports in Romania - in Iași and Bucharest. It is easy to catch night flights from Iași and morning flights from Bucharest. Convenient transfers are offered by city transport", adds UZ.
At Bucharest's central station, Gara de Nord, passengers can also connect to trains heading to Burgas, Sofia, and Istanbul.
The customs control time between Ukraine and Moldova is one hour, while between Moldova and Romania it is one and a half hours.
