The winners of the National Literary Award «Kyiv Book of the Year» for 2025 have been announced.
This award was established on the initiative of the President of the Institute, Oleksandr Herasymenko, and is presented annually ahead of Ukraine's Independence Day. Its primary goal is to support Ukrainian authors, publishers, and creative individuals who significantly contribute to the popularization of Ukrainian literature, the development of literary criticism, and the enhancement of artistic standards.
The Expert Council of the Institute of Political-Legal and Religious Studies made the decision on the laureates. The names of the winners were published on the official website.
The «Kyiv Book of the Year» award continues to play a vital role in shaping the cultural landscape of the country, supporting authors who strengthen Ukrainian identity through literature and creativity.
The event was held with the support of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine, the European Cultural Assembly, the National Union of Writers of Ukraine, the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine, the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine, and the Kyiv City State Administration.
Interestingly, Ukrainian youth has spent over 90 million hryvnias under the eBook program.
