In the temporarily occupied Crimea, on the morning of August 24, activists from the resistance movement "Yellow Ribbon" held an event on Mount Kiska in Simeiz to celebrate Ukraine's Independence Day.

This was reported by the "Yellow Ribbon" group via Telegram.

"At dawn, as the first rays of light touched the Crimean mountains, activists unfurled the Ukrainian flag on Mount Kiska in Simeiz. This signifies that Crimea awaits Ukraine's return," the message stated.

"Every dawn serves as a reminder that darkness is not eternal, and the morning without occupiers will surely come," the activists added.
