On the morning of August 7, a significant fire broke out at a hospital in Kryzhopil, Vinnytsia region, affecting the roof of one of the departments.

The State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported this on their Facebook page.

"Today, in the morning, the emergency responders extinguished a large fire that erupted in one of the hospital's departments in Kryzhopil. The fire spread over an area of approximately 400 square meters", - the statement says.

According to the report, 11 patients and two medical staff were evacuated to a nearby building, and no injuries were reported.

A total of 48 rescuers and ten units of equipment were involved in the firefighting efforts.

The cause of the fire is currently being investigated.
