The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved new regulations for the production, procurement, and supply of explosives and ammunition amid martial law. This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
According to the defense ministry, the resolution adopted on July 16, 2025, is titled "Issues of Production, Procurement, and Supply of Explosives and Ammunition".
This document outlines new procedures for the production, procurement, and supply of explosive materials and amends previous resolutions to align with the new order. It was noted that manufacturers of ammunition who already hold a status will continue their operations under the new rules.
Key points of the new resolution include:
- Existing certificates for storing military explosives issued under previous rules will remain valid during the implementation of the new regulations.
- All explosive materials used for the production of ammunition for defense forces are now classified as military explosives, simplifying their circulation.
- The government has removed administrative barriers for manufacturers, allowing for the rapid establishment of production for essential munitions.
