In Kyiv, an employee of the prosecutor's office hit a woman in a pedestrian area and fled the scene of the accident. 

The victim received the necessary medical assistance. The driver was quickly apprehended. 

This was reported by the General Prosecutor of Ukraine, Ruslan Krapchenko.

Details of the incident: the prosecutor's employee caused an accident in the Holosiivskyi district on Velyka Vasylkivska Street.

«The driver, by violating all laws, hit a woman and fled the scene. However, he has been detained», - stated the General Prosecutor. 

It is known that the driver was Andrii Molochnyi - the chief specialist of the department.

He is an employee of the prosecutor's office, though not a prosecutor.

The General Prosecutor has taken this case under control and promised to represent the interests of the victim in court.

«Such behavior is a disgrace to the entire system. It must be punished severely. I promise that it will be», - emphasized General Prosecutor Ruslan Krapchenko.
