New Composition of Ukraine's National Security Council

President Volodymyr Zelensky has announced the new composition of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine.

The head of the National Security Council is President Zelensky himself, and the secretary is former Defense Minister Rustem Umierov.

The following individuals have also joined the new NSC:

  • Haluschenko Herman Valeryovych – Minister of Justice
  • Hrynchuk Svitlana Vasylivna – Minister of Energy
  • Yermak Andrii Borysovych – Head of the President's Office
  • Zahorodnyi Anatolii Hlibovych – President of the National Academy of Sciences
  • Ivaschenko Oleg Ivanovych – Head of the Foreign Intelligence Service
  • Klymenko Ihor Volodymyrovych – Minister of Internal Affairs
  • Kravchenko Ruslan Andriyovych – Attorney General
  • Lyashko Viktor Kyrylovych – Minister of Health
  • Maliuk Vasyl Vasylovych – Head of the Security Service of Ukraine
  • Marchenko Serhii Mykhailovych – Minister of Finance
  • Pysnyy Andrii Hryhorovych – Head of the National Bank (with consent)
  • Pronin Filip Yevhenovych – Head of the State Financial Monitoring Service
  • Syrydenko Yuliia Anatoliyivna – Prime Minister
  • Sybiha Andrii Ivanovych – Minister of Foreign Affairs
  • Syrskyi Oleksandr Stanislavovych – Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine
  • Sobolev Oleksii Dmytrovych – Minister of Economy, Environment, and Agriculture
  • Stefanchuk Ruslan Oleksiyovych – Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada (with consent)
  • Fedorov Mykhailo Albertovych – First Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine
  • Shmyhal Denys Anatoliyovych – Minister of Defense.

The decree takes effect from the date of its publication.
