Reconstruction efforts are currently taking place on the bridge adjacent to the «Darnytsia» metro station in Kyiv.

This structure has been in use since 1963 and has never undergone major repairs.

From February 8 to November 30, traffic will be closed due to ongoing reconstruction activities.

Specialists are dismantling aging structural elements, including the bridge deck and supports.

Currently, new beams are being installed between supports 1 and 2 above the metro line.

Officials from «Kyivavtodor» emphasize that all work is carried out exclusively at night when train services are temporarily halted.

«The installation of beams is accompanied by loud noises as metal guides are secured into the structure. The work is expected to be completed in the first half of September», — the road workers stated.

The municipal corporation apologizes for any temporary inconveniences.
