Investigators from the Shevchenko district of Kyiv uncovered instances of budget fund misappropriation with the active support of the SBU in Kyiv and under the oversight of the Shevchenko District Prosecutor's Office.

According to Mykola Habinet, the head of the investigative unit, the suspect is the acting head of the Department of Urban Planning, Architecture, and Land Use.
It has been established that the suspect, in collusion with entrepreneurs, purchased modular heating system blocks at inflated prices. The perpetrators increased the price for each unit through their controlled companies before reselling them to the final client.
As a result, 9 modular heating blocks cost the capital one million hryvnias, as confirmed by forensic examination findings.
The investigators detained the official under Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine and announced suspicions against her under Part 5 of Article 191 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine for misappropriating budget funds through abuse of power. This article provides for up to twelve years of imprisonment with confiscation of property.
