Local officials in several counties of Texas have confirmed that the death toll from the floods has reached 80 people.

According to Sheriff Larry Laita of Kerr County, among the deceased in Kerr County are 40 adults and 28 children.

• 3 dead in Burnet County

• 1 dead in Tom Green County
• 1 dead in Williamson County
