Recently, one of the boys found himself in deep water, while his friends rushed to help him.
As summer days arrive, when many residents of Kyiv flock to the beaches, KP "Plesso" once again emphasizes the importance of adhering to safety rules on the water.
Yesterday, rescuers recorded a serious incident that fortunately ended without tragic consequences thanks to prompt actions.
Three young swimmers were playing in the water without adult supervision. One of the boys unexpectedly found himself in deep water and started to drown. The other two, trying to rescue their friend, also began to struggle.
Thanks to the professional and quick actions of lifeguard Maxim Boiko from KP "Plesso", a tragedy was averted.
He swiftly pulled all three boys from the water, had a talk with them, and ensured they could relax safely on the shore. There was no need to call the police or ambulance since the incident ended well.
Lifeguards from KP "Plesso" remind everyone of the essential rules for safe behavior in the water:
- Never leave children unattended!
- Choose well-equipped beaches where lifeguards are present.
- Assess your abilities.
- Do not swim beyond the marked buoys.
- Avoid dangerous games. Do not engage in pushing, simulating drowning, or other risky activities in the water.
- If you see someone in trouble, immediately call for help from lifeguards.
Remember, your safety is in your hands! Take care of yourself and your loved ones!
It is worth noting that in June, 98 people drowned in Ukraine, including 8 children.
