Denmark Invests in Ukrainian Drone Production

The Danish government is taking a significant step by investing in the expansion of Ukrainian drone production on its territory. This initiative is part of the "Build with Ukraine" program, marked by the signing of a letter of intent between Ukraine's Defense Minister Rustem Umerov and his Danish counterpart Troels Lund Poulsen.

Denmark has allocated over $47 million for the construction of the factory. All products manufactured will be supplied exclusively to the Ukrainian Defense Forces. The funding for production will be covered by partner contributions.

Rustem Umerov emphasized that this is a strategically important move that enhances joint defense capabilities, strengthens supply chains, and creates new opportunities for technological exchange between the countries.

It is important to note that the "Build with Ukraine" initiative aims to establish Ukrainian weapon production facilities in partner countries, funded by foreign investments, and will cater solely to the needs of Ukrainian military forces.

Great Britain is already on this path, committing to finance the production of Ukrainian drones on its territory for three years.
