Missing Boy Found Safe: Successful Rescue Operation in Ukraine

A 5-year-old boy named Kirill has been found in Ivano-Frankivsk after being missing for more than three days.

Today (June 21 – ed.) at 05:54, rescuers from the Special Aviation Unit of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine discovered the missing child using a drone.

According to the rescuers, since the start of the search and rescue operation, 5,500 hectares of land have been surveyed, including 4,600 hectares of forest area. Drones also inspected 8,902 hectares in total.

Divers examined 12 bodies of water covering an area of 7,700 square meters and 155 hectares of shoreline.

Background: On June 17 around 6 PM, 5-year-old Kirill went missing during a walk in the forest in Ivano-Frankivsk. He was with his mother but wandered out of her sight and did not return home.
