The government is set to fully compensate tuition costs for the children of defenders in Ukraine for the academic year 2024/2025.
This announcement comes from the press service of the "Diia" platform.
"The first 1,000 certificates are already being sent to this year's graduates of bachelor's and master's programs. Please await notifications in 'Diia'," the statement reads.
If you have already received a notification, you need to:
Open 'Diia' → check your personal information in the certificate → confirm your consent via Diia.Signature within 20 days → then await the results.
Funds from the government will be transferred directly to your educational institution, which will reimburse you.
Compensation will be available for children (up to 23 years old):
- children of deceased defenders of Ukraine;
- military personnel with war-related disabilities;
- combat participants;
- missing under special circumstances;
- captured due to armed aggression;
- victims of the Revolution of Dignity.
Requirements for compensation:
- ID card or biometric passport in 'Diia';
- verified tax identification number;
- information about the student in the Unified State Electronic Database on Education (USEDE) and the veteran status of the child;
- contractual form of education for 2024/2025.
