A 22-year-old man in Kyiv posted a TikTok video showing him and his friends exiting a limousine to the sound of Russian music.

Police located the individual and issued an administrative protocol for minor hooliganism, according to Kyiv's law enforcement.

"During a social media monitoring, officers discovered a video on one Telegram channel depicting a group of young people flaunting their behavior as they exited a limousine in the capital to the tune of Russian songs," the statement reads.

Employees from the Shevchenkivsky police department identified the author of the post as a 22-year-old resident of Kyiv, who was invited to the police station for questioning.

"During his conversation with law enforcement, he explained that the original video had no music, but when posting it on TikTok, he decided to add songs by a Russian artist for the sake of hype," police explained.

The young man was charged with an administrative protocol under Article 173 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses – minor hooliganism. This article stipulates a fine ranging from 51 to 119 UAH.

Recently, police in Kyiv, together with the SBU, identified individuals who were listening to Russian music in the Podil district and ignored pedestrians' remarks.

One woman approached the group and remarked that listening to Russian music was inappropriate, especially since Russian forces had recently attacked Sumy. The young men laughed and turned the volume up.

Protocols were also drawn up against them for minor hooliganism and public drinking.
